At Upton Park, Arsenal played better, but conceded the first goal from a poor defensive situation in the 21st minute. All that Wenger’s team could do in nearly an hour of play followed.

Giroud (yellow shirt) opened the comeback for Arsenal with a connecting kick to equalize the 1-1 tie at the end of the first half.

In addition to continuing an impressive streak of achievements against rivals in the same city – winning seven, drawing two, not losing a match since 2007, yesterday’s victory over West Ham was also a strong statement from Wenger about Arsenal.

The victory over West Ham was also a way for Arsenal to show that they know how to get up after stumbling at home in another London derby – losing 1-2 to Chelsea.

Another important harvest for Arsenal and Wenger at Upton Park on Saturday night was Giroud’s first shot.

However, before enjoying the fun, Arsenal struggled in the first half.

West Ham is clearly a weak, inexperienced team when they encounter the first big team this season, Arsenal.

The loss more or less left Arsenal frozen and in the midst of difficulties, the person who helped them regain confidence was surprisingly the striker who was being criticized and doubted the most.

West Ham reacted very positively to this defeat.

However, that is wrong thinking and choice.

The gap could even be three or four goals, if in the last few minutes, Podolski and Giroud took better advantage of situations where West Ham defended poorly.
