FranceThe current contract between PSG and Kylian Mbappe has a loyalty bonus clause of 88 million USD, and immediately after July 31, the French team must pay half.

This clause is in the contract signed in May 2022, when the relationship between the two parties was still good.

However, in early June, Mbappe sent a letter notifying him of not extending the contract until June 2025 as originally planned.

Mbappe stopped playing for PSG since the victory over Le Havre on July 21.

On July 21, PSG applied pressure by removing Mbappe from the squad for the Japan tour.

PSG’s effort to sell Mbappe is facing major obstacles.

Al Hilal is willing to pay 330 million transfer fee to PSG, 775 million 2023-2024 season salary for Mbappe, and allow him to join Real in the summer of 2024. However, Mbappe does not want to go to Saudi Arabia.

If Mbappe refuses to leave during the summer transfer window, PSG can force him to sit on the bench for the entire 2023-2024 season.

Mbappe joined PSG in 2017, on loan from Monaco.

In the first two matches of the tour in Japan, PSG drew 0-0 with Al Nassr and lost 2-3 with Cerezo Osaka.
