Elvis Phuong released a memoir of more than 60 years of singing 1

Elvis Phuong released his memoir `Line of Life`, recreating from his early singing days, being disowned by his father, kicked out of home, to a happy love affair with his wife.

The book was named by the famous singer after the song Life – musician Nam Loc wrote Vietnamese lyrics based on the original My Way by Frank Sinatra.

He dedicated the first chapter – Confessions of Wild Horse – to tell about the days leading up to his singing career.

The early days of Elvis Phuong’s career were not easy.

He faced opposition from his family – especially his father, who wanted him to follow his career as a contractor.

In 1962, after Elvis Phuong passed his baccalaureate, his father decided to send his son to study abroad in France.

Elvis Phuong decided not to follow the path his father had set out for him, declaring that he wanted to stay in Vietnam to sing.

The famous singer devotes a part of the book to his love story with his wife – Mrs. Le Hoa.

For Elvis Phuong, the motivation for him to live happily every day and work hard in his profession for more than 60 years is thanks to his wife who is always by his side.

The book also has two appendices – CDs Elvis Phuong and Elvis Phuong – 62 years of singing, including documentary images throughout 62 years of his career.

Elvis Phuong’s real name is Pham Ngoc Phuong, 78 years old, from Binh Duong, in a family of well-off Western educated intellectuals.

He performed in public for the first time in 1962 at the Regina Pacis seminary.
