American billionaire Todd Boehly called on Chelsea fans to have faith and admitted that he learned many lessons in his first year of taking over the club.

Boehly spoke about his first 12 months at Stamford Bridge in a conversation with Milken Institute president Michael Milken on May 3.

`The fans are always demanding,` Boehly said.

After taking over Chelsea, Boehly approved spending 668 million USD to bring in 16 players through two transfer periods, and 56 million USD in contract compensation to fire Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter respectively.

`Winning is the best feeling,` Boehly continued, referring to his successes with the American professional baseball team LA Dodgers.

According to British newspaper Sportmail, the `conductor` Boehly mentioned is Mauricio Pochettino.

Previously, Sky Sports revealed that Pochettino is the strongest candidate to sit in the `hot seat` at Stamford Bridge, after Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique withdrew from negotiations.

However, famous player Emmanuel Petit said that Chelsea’s problem does not lie in the head coach position, but in having too many players.

Boehly shared about his time managing Chelsea just a few days after the 1-3 defeat at Arsenal in round 34 of the Premier League.

The Athletic revealed that at least 9 first-team players regret signing long-term contracts with Chelsea, and want to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2023.

In the next match in round 35 of the Premier League tomorrow, May 6, Chelsea will be away at Bournemouth – the team also has 39 points but is right behind because of a loss in difference.
