Chelsea today announced their decision to part ways with German coach Thomas Tuchel ahead of time.

The decision to let Tuchel quit was announced by Chelsea’s board of directors on the morning of September 7, London time, about half a day after losing 0-1 to host Dinano Zagreb in the opening match of the Champions League.
